IBG.

IBG (Interbank GIRO) is the batch interbank rail for lower-cost, non-urgent transfers, suited to payroll runs, supplier batch payments, and scheduled disbursements.

IBG processes instructions in defined intraday batch cycles rather than settling each transaction in real time. The lower per-transaction cost relative to RENTAS makes IBG the practical choice for payroll, recurring supplier payments, and any disbursement where same-day finality is not required. The receiving account is credited within the same business day for instructions submitted before the cutoff, or on the next business day for late submissions. idataraya integrates IBG through an H2H channel with the participating bank, handles batch file construction to the RENTAS-IBG message format, manages cutoff windows, and reconciles the returned credit advices against the submitted batch.

  • Batch interbank transfers across all IBG-participating Malaysian banks
  • H2H bank integration with batch file construction and cutoff management
  • Same-day or next-day credit depending on submission window

Batch payouts without manual file handling.

IBG batches are the workhorse for payroll and supplier disbursements in Malaysian businesses. The integration layer builds the batch file, submits it within the correct cutoff window, and reconciles credit advices back to individual payment records in your system.

Batch file built from your payment records.

Your system issues individual payment instructions. The integration layer aggregates them into an IBG-compliant batch file, validates each record for mandatory fields and account format, and submits the file through the H2H channel before the applicable cutoff. Rejected items are returned as structured errors per record.

Cutoff windows managed by the integration.

IBG runs on defined intraday batch cycles with submission cutoffs set by the bank. The integration tracks the applicable cutoff for each batch, queues late-arriving instructions for the next cycle, and surfaces the expected credit date against each item before submission so your operations team knows what to expect.

Credit advices matched to batch items.

After the bank processes the batch, credit advices are returned through the H2H channel, one per successfully credited record. The reconciliation layer matches each advice to the originating instruction by reference, confirms the amount, and marks the item as settled in your payment ledger. Unadvised items after the credit window trigger an exception.

Lower-cost rail for non-urgent disbursements.

IBG carries a lower per-transaction fee than RENTAS, making it the correct rail for payroll and recurring supplier payments where same-day RTGS finality is not a requirement. The integration selects the rail based on configurable rules: amount, urgency flag, and beneficiary account type.
